The truth is, it only takes a tiny hint of autumnal breeze and changing leaves to get us VERY excited here in the marketing department at Out of the Ark – we LOVE all things cosy. In fact, on the days when we’re working from home, the pumpkin-spiced candles are in FULL force and the kettle is always boiling!
We are thrilled to help you bring this cosy, wholesome, feel-good vibe into your classrooms with our warm ’n’ fuzzy songs! Full of autumn imagery, messages of small beginnings and the wonder of this season, there’s nothing that creates autumn vibes more than a song! Here’s the line-up:
It’s a simple and short song, but it carries a whole lot of autumnal imagery to get you feeling snug. This one is great for using as inspiration for dances, art displays, poetry and general seasonal creativity!
This song welcomes everyone to join in, from Early Years right up to Year 6 (plus teachers and staff!) – its unifying message of growth, small beginnings and wonder are themes for everyone. For that little bit of extra feel-good, we’ve popped in a modulation at the end for a positive finish!
‘New beginnings patiently are waiting, tucked away in the tiniest places of all.’
With a lovely piano accompaniment and simple melody, this beautiful and thought-provoking song about friendship is certainly one to add to your favourites for your Key Stage 2 children. It also provides an opportunity for a solo, small-group singing and an optional harmony part for that extra magic.
A song of intrigue and awe of our wonderful season of autumn. From soundly sleeping hedgehogs to birds that fly over oceans (and somehow know which way to go!), this song is all about how clever this time of year really is! We hope these snippets have got you feeling plenty of autumnal magic, and ready to put the kettle on for a cuppa or hot chocolate!
